Join Me at Open Access Symposium 2016
I’m looking forward to speaking on at the Open Access Symposium 2016, organized by Stony Brook University Libraries, on October 25. As an alumna of two SUNY universities, I was both honored and surprised to have been invited to speak on a panel at this special event.
Our panel discussion will focus on the possibilities of how education technology, open access and OERs intersect and work in tandem to create stronger learning experience for students. These fine folks will be joining me on the panel:
- Brian Sweeting, Content Strategiest at Columbia University’s Teachers College EdLab
- Claudia McGivney, Head of Academic Engagement at Stony Brook University Libraries
- Laura Costello, moderator and Head of Research & Emerging Techologies at Stony Brook University Libraries
I am thrilled to be teaming up with Stony Brook University, librarians, and my friends at EdLab for what will surely be a great day of learning. You can sign up for the event here.
