Share Your Love for Podcasts with FiveThirtyEight’s “Dear Data” Series

On an average day, but especially during the heyday of election season, I’ve relied on the FiveThirtyEight blog to explain data-driven explanations of complicated topics in everyman speak. Their podcasts are particularly worthwhile.

This month, FiveThirtyEight is turning over data visualization to its readers (and listeners). Inspired by a new book, Dear Data, where two people built a friendship through unique postcards showcasing various data sets they encountered in their day-to-day lives, FiveThirtyEight is accepting similar postcards… but with data focused around how we listen to podcasts.

Favorite submissions will be featured on the FiveThirtyEight blog, with one winner receiving a copy of Dear Data upon its release in the fall.

All the details are outlined on the FiveThirtyEight blog, and they are accepting submissions through March. I’m getting my colored pencils and doodling skills ready. Join me!
